Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. (2 Corinthians 4:1 NKJV)

Have you ever watched a bicycle race? When we see the cyclists passing by, we give them a smile and water to refresh them. We cheer them on to encourage them. We say, “Keep moving, you’re almost there!” Such support provides relief and renewed strength for them to keep going and strive to reach the finish line. They continue to stride with all their might, no matter how hard the climb and the curves are, as they grind with all strength and ability. Doing our ministry is like riding a bicycle. Biking makes us strong. We exercise our Christian virtues in fulfilling our ministry. It makes our faith in the Lord strong and our spirit fervent and alive. While we are on a sprint, we hear God’s Words encourage us and His love refreshes our souls. His words and His love motivate us to keep on pushing, pursuing our Christian duties until we finish the race and reach our spiritual perfection. During the race, we need to keep pedaling in order to keep going. If we stop pedaling, we will lose our balance and fall. If we look down on the ground instead of focusing ahead, we may also lose balance and crash. As we fulfill our ministry, we should keep on going. Situations may be tough, but it will get us to the high level of spiritual maturity. Let us enjoy the ride!
