Wisdom in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out. (Proverbs 20:5 MKJV)

We do not know what the future holds. What we do know is that God intends the best for us, His beloved children. We have this hope that He will guide us in our life’s journey. He does it several ways. His Words are our guide, the light in our paths. We have learned from our own experiences; from the successes and failures we have gone through, but admittedly, our knowledge and understanding are limited. Life is a lifelong pursuit of truth and wisdom. Likewise, life is so precious to be wasted. Thus, we need to be certain of what we want in life, where we are going and what the outcome would be. We all want to be successful. We cannot be sorry in the end. We cannot be successful without the help of those who care for us. There are also people who have graduated from the school of hard-knocks whom we can ask advice from. They are the ones who can teach and train us. Your Church Elders are always there for you. They not only teach and guide you in the ways of godliness. They also love you until you are perfected in Christ’s image. God promised this: “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
