Gold Dust No. 329

  • November 25, 2019

I do not claim that I have already succeeded or have already become perfect. I keep striving to win the prize for which Christ Jesus has already won me to himself. (Philippians 3:20 GNB)

My aim, as every one of us should aim, is to become the perfect image of Christ our Lord. If we are like Christ, we become heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven. Every one of us is looking forward to reach heaven. This is the prize of our high calling. That is why we should strive to do more and give more of ourselves to Christ in performing our Christian duties the best way we can. It is the only way to please God and gain His favor in bringing us to perfection. We cannot be perfect on our own. It is God who can do that for us by sending His Spirit in us. He can, then, empower us, make us wise, and provide all that we need to accomplish our duties, opening up opportunities for us to be perfect Christians. Christ showed us how. We should fully surrender ourselves to the will of God. Not our will but His will. We should serve instead of being served. We should love God and love each other. Comes with love are the 15 Christian Grace we should do. As Heirs of the manifold riches of heaven, let us think, walk and talk in the unity of our faith, bound by the three-fold bond of Agape.
