Remember to welcome strangers in your homes. There were some who did that and welcomed angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2 GNB)
“Love thy neighbor.” “Love one another.” Christ commands us to express our love to our brothers and sisters in the faith. Love is an action word, a call to do something good and not just to say what is good. We are to be generous in helping one another. We should welcome each other in our house and in our hearts, not once, but every time, it being one of our Christian duties. We should extend this hospitality even to those who are not in the faith. The reward is greater than what we give or do to those who are in need. Angels are bringer of good tidings. God blesses those who bless others. There is something greater and holier than that—it is knowing that we are blessed to be a blessing to others. Be good Samaritans. Intentionally, do something good for others today and tomorrow… but tomorrow never ends.
