Be patient and wait for the LORD to act; don’t be worried about those who prosper or those who succeed in their evil plans.(Psalms 37:7 GNB)
Patience is required for us to be blessed. Our steadfast hope in His promises makes us wait for Him, for His actions that we may receive His blessings here and upon His return, the blessed life in Heaven. It is worth the wait. It is God whom we wait for. It would be wrong if He waits for us. We serve Him, so we wait for Him. If we get bored or impatient to wait, then we will not be able to receive what He has to give. We will act to get what we can by our own action. Certainly, we get the least versus what we can get if we wait for God. He is generous in giving. Waiting prepares us to receive the blessings. We learn to trust Him. If we doubt Him, we won’t wait. We also learn to be humble by waiting. Waiting means we are not in control of the situation. Somebody else is. So, we submit ourselves to God and wait. Otherwise, we are proud to not wait and leave. What is the best thing to do while waiting? Well, everyone of us do this, WE PRAY, right? We pray, while waiting, for God to bless us and fulfill His promises. There is a time for everything under the sun. If it’s time, no one can stop it! God’s timing is always perfect! Let us pray, Dear Lord, may your will be done in our lives. Amen.
