Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, you must do all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 NLT)
The wicked say, “Let us eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we shall die.” The righteous is given their portion to eat, drink and be happy, not only for the satisfaction of the flesh, but mainly for the glory of God who supplies everything we need. The wicked enjoy only for a little while in this life but the righteous rejoice here and in eternity. The lifestyle of the rich and the famous in this life is for selfish enjoyment. Their plans and works are for their own interests. It is unfortunate that in reality, they are poor in spirit and are lost souls in the world. The righteous are the real VIP’s or the Very Important Persons. They are the Children of God, His Saints, those whose lifestyle is of holiness and of servitude to God and man. To best glorify God is to imitate Him. He did His way of life of holiness and service until His death in the flesh. VIPs are God’s beloved ones. There is no other joy than to be loved by our Creator. Remain to be one.
