The Lord God Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Everything starts and ends with Him. He knows fully well the right path to life because He created life. The Lord is the only way, the truth and the life. Thus, if we commit all of our steps to Him, in whatever we do, we shall be successful. He will be with us every step of the way. If problems and trials arise or if there are difficulties along the way, God will certainly be with us to instruct us what to do and strengthen us to overcome. Do not doubt God. Do not be proud that you are succeeding. Do not put your confidence in yourself and in others except God. If you are failing, do not doubt Him. Do not lose your trust in what He can do. Be patient while doing the right things. He can turn disappointments to appointments, darkness to light, and sighs to laughter. God may not be there when you want Him to, but He will surely be there on time. Committing our spirit to Him ensures our having His favor in life and in death. We can then say, “Father, in your hands I commit my spirit”.
