Nothing in this world is permanent. Everything has its beginning and end. All come and go in their appointed times. Beautiful flowers decay in time, the strong and the powerful age and die. Honor and knowledge fade in time. Nothing stays. This world will perish and so will the pleasures of the world. This is why we should not love the world and what is in the world. What it offers are temporary pleasures and relief. We are enticed by the devil in so many ways to love the world. It is a folly if we give in to the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes and desire for worldly honor and fame. Man came from the dust of the earth so he must return to the earth. The good news is God loves you. He offers His everlasting love for us to enjoy forever, not in this world that will perish, but in heaven where you find the tree of life. His love abides for all eternity. True love lasts forever. God is love. He is true and faithful. Loving God is the way to enjoy real pleasures. He is the way that if we follow Him, He will show us the way. He is life. He lives forever. If we love Him, naturally, we will be happy forever. He wants you and me to go to heaven and live with Him. Desire God and love Him faithfully. Accept His love. Experience true love that is made in heaven!
