Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything. (James 1:4 GW)
Practice makes perfect. Perfection means maturity, complete, not lacking of anything. But that is not all, perfection means balance, symmetry and proportion. Perfect beauty in the physical sense is also like the beauty of our soul, our spirit. To make us perfect, we are to develop discipline. We have to learn not only by reading and hearing the words of God. Most important is that we have to learn to apply them in our day to day lives. We need to go through difficult tests of our faith in Christ. Gold is purified by fire. Our faith is like gold that is purified through different trials and temptations. We need to endure and stand the tests. After the tests, we shall come out stronger, wiser and complete until we become perfect. So, welcome any and all trials of faith. Let us give thanks to the Lord for we are being purified and perfected by them.
