For our salvation, there is only one way: Jesus Christ our Lord. He is the way, the truth and the life. We cannot choose which way we can be saved. Why can we not obey the Lord’s message of salvation? One of the reasons is our pride. We want to be the lord of ourselves. We do not want to be dictated upon. It is hard for a man to surrender himself to another. God requires for us to surrender to His will fully and willingly. He wants to hear us say, “Lord let your will be done, and not my will”. We need to have faith in God to hear His voice and obey His commands. We need to believe also in His chosen messengers who are elected to proclaim His words. If we reject His Messengers, we reject Him who sent them. If we receive them and their words as the words of God, then, we shall prosper and succeed. Keep on believing! Stand firm in your faith!
