Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” (1 Peter 5:5)
Abba, our God Most High, God Almighty, You are the source of life and strength. You provided the Church with strength through the youth. The youth shall be the next generation who will continue to exalt Your name and live in holiness. Their young minds are easily captivated by the things they witness in this world, especially the ones that have nothing to do with holiness but with revelry. May You keep them from finding their happiness in worldly pleasures. May their happiness be through good deeds that please You. May their strength be dedicated to glorifying Your holy name. May they never get accustomed to disobey Your will. May they have humility to accept the wisdom that comes from You, through Your chosen ones to teach them. May their knowledge in You grow and abound, so they love You even more and keep living in righteousness all the days of their lives. To You, we entrust the Youth, in Your name, Christ Jesus, our only God and Savior. Amen.
