Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart. (Psalm 97:11)
Abba, our Father and King, our God Most High, we come before Your throne with humility. We are praying for our situation while journeying in this dark world. Many are confused. Others went astray. Indeed, everyday wickedness is prevailing, but we are full of hope that You will light our path. You will guide us to the path of Your righteousness. Despite the chaos happening around us, Your peace will abound in our hearts. You will never let our faith be shaken despite the turmoil. You will bestow us with open minds. You will open our hearts. Through these, we will see and understand how great Your will is despite the unrest happening before us. More than anything, Your Holy Spirit will comfort us so we can see how to live joyfully in Your commandments. Our happiness will overflow in our hearts and will serve as light as we live. This light will be a guide for those who are in darkness, so they may also see Your marvelous light. Along with us, more people will be delighted to walk according to Your righteousness. We commit everything to You. We lift all things to You, for You are our only God, Christ Jesus. Amen.
