Who may go up into the hill of the Lord? and who may come into his holy place? He who has clean hands and a true heart; whose desire has not gone out to foolish things, who has not taken a false oath. (Psalms 24:3-4 BBE)
A true heart is what God wants. He does not look at the outer man. He looks at the inner man, our soul which resides in the heart. A true heart is a pure heart. There is no lie, no grudge, no evil can be found in it. It is a humble heart, merciful and full of compassion. A true heart is loving, joyful and secure. It is a light heart, not a heavy heart. From it comes what it bears. Hands, feet and heart go together in harmony. The hands do the desires of the heart. The feet walk towards what the heart dictates. The hands and feet express and expose the state of the heart. Look at Jesus on the cross. His hands, feet and heart were pierced and the blood of life, holy and pure, came out of them. He then went up to heaven into His holy place. He is the forerunner, and we can follow Him by keeping our hands in doin His will, our feet in walking His laws and our heart pure, holy and blameless.
