For Christ has accomplished the whole purpose of the law. All who believe in him are made right with God. (Romans 10:4 NLT)
The law of God is clear. The wages of sin is death. Sin is deadly. It cannot be forgiven unless punishment has been rendered. There is no big or small sin. Both result to death in hell. We all have sinned. We have no right to cast a stone to someone who committed sin against us because we also have sinned. The good news is that Christ came to deliver us from eternal punishment. He carried all our sins, symbolized by the cross, in Calvary, until the tragic death when He was nailed on the cross. He is holy. He has committed no sin. God purposed upon Himself to come to our rescue to save us. You and I cannot save ourselves. Only God in the flesh can do that. But the law of God must be complied with. We have to die for our sins. Otherwise, God’s law will be in vain and God will not be God. So, God had this eternal purpose to save mankind. He came in the flesh so He can suffer and die for us to deliver us. Amazing grace! His blood covered our sins. Salvation is for all. But not all will receive salvation; only those who will believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the Lord and Savior will. Believe and do the works of a believer. Repent, baptize and serve God with all your heart, mind soul and strength.
