If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? (Luke 11:13 NKJV)
The Holy Spirit is essential to a believer’s life. Through our faith, the Holy Spirit works in us so that we may be able to comply with the requirements of being a Christian. It gives us spiritual gifts, helps us understand God’s mysteries, helps us repent for our sins, and perform our divine duties to God. Now, we can see the significance of the Holy Spirit in our lives as Christians. Therefore, let us pray to Abba, our Father, to give us the Holy Spirit so that we may be able to do the things that please Him. He is a very loving Father. Aside from that, nothing is impossible to Him. He can give what we ask from Him. All we need to do is approach Him through our sincere prayers. Declare that He is everything that we need and without Him, we can do nothing. It is only God who can give us the ability to have the glory like His.
