The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10 AMP)
Satan is the thief who comes when you least expect him. He does more harm than the usual robbers who steal and snatch cellphones, bags, wallets or sneak into houses to empty homes of valuables like money, jewelries, laptops, and even television sets, etc. They are armed and ready to harm, destroy or kill anyone who comes their way. But Satan is more deadly. He steals those that are most valuable to us. He comes to snatch our faith in God. He snatches our joy, peace and happiness in our Christian life. He puts doubts in our hearts and minds which make us doubt the love, protection and salvation we received from our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to watch and pray because the night is deep, and Satan is roaming around like a roaring lion looking for his victims. Do not give him an edge. Submit to the Lord Jesus Christ and resist Satan and he will flee from you. The Lord is our strength and the rock of our salvation. He is like the police whom we can call and will certainly come to our rescue. He can make us recover what we have lost. In fact, He promises to give us more. He will provide us abundant blessings if we turn to Him and ask for His help. He will give abundant blessings and abundant life. Return to Christ and He will give you new spirit. He will give you the renewed fire to praise, worship and serve Him in the ministry He first has given you. Return to Him and you will gain your first love.
