Whether we live or die, it must be for the Lord. Alive or dead, we still belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:8 CEV)
God is the Boss. He is sovereign. He owns us. Our lives begin with Him and end with Him. He decides our days, months and years, even when and how we arrive and depart in this world. Thus, we should always be ready. We shall all give an account of how we spent our lives. If we live, it will always be for His glory. If we die, He will also be glorified. In life, we cannot lose our religion in good times or in bad times. We are to fight a good fight of faith so as not to lose it. As Apostle Paul says, “To live is Christ and to die is gain.” Our aim is clear in this life. We are the light and salt of the earth. We submit ourselves to Christ, denying and dying to ourselves every day that Christ may rule and live in us! Only then, God is Boss. He is Christ all in all!
