Be still, and know that I am God! I will be praised among the nations, I will be praised in the earth. (Psalms 46:10 NKJV)
It is a command that every child of God should faithfully do to know more about God and find wisdom we need to overcome this world where we journey. It is a world of troubles and sorrows. We are here as pilgrims who are going to the promised land. Oftentimes we are caught up in the rat race, fast paced busy world. Everything is made available instantly so we can catch up with the things that need to be done. The Prophet Habakkuk seeks to inquire and learn from the Lord. How did he do it? He went up to the tower of his faith to talk to God. He reached for a higher spiritual condition where his spirit may meet the Spirit God. In the tower it is only God and him. Let us do the same thing. There is peace and quiet up there and the noise of the world cannot reach it, nobody can bother us because it is a higher tower fortified by the presence of the Holy God. We need to take time and get instructions from God. We need to communicate with Him through prayers. We need some quiet time to enjoy the presence of the Lord, hear His small sweet voice in our hearts for encouragement, direction, to establish our faith and to grow our love for Him. Go to our room, shut the door and pray. Meaning, be still and know that God is God. Prayer can change our situations, and it can change the prayer. Connect with God. He is always available. He is reachable and never busy. Brethren, try it once, twice until God reveal Himself to you. Certainly you will enjoy His presence. If you do, tell others about your meeting. Let us hear your story.
