Gold Dust No. 27

As newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation. (1 Peter 2:2 Darby)

We were reborn through the incorruptible seed of the word of our Father God and by our Mother Church, the Most Holy. We need to live and grow by the words of God taught in the Church. To grow we should feed on the words for nourishment, because without it, we shall become weak, ill and finally, die. As children of God, our growth process is like new born babes. We are new born after baptism. The brethren carry us and the ministers feed us. Soon we crawl in practicing the faith with the guidance of the Abiezers, our God-given help. Next, we start to walk. We sometimes fall and wobble and rise again because of trials in our Christian faith. Next, we walk and run, already strong in faith, hope and love. Then, we reach maturity. We are able to help other Christians by doing our church ministry. We continually reach perfection by leading others to Christ. To be mature is to have wisdom. The wise wins souls. Perfect Christians are able to defend themselves and save others. The Lord commands us to reach out, preach and make disciples and baptize them in church. Let us do as He says: lead somebody to Christ.
