Gold Dust No. 26

God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won’t follow sinners or join in sneering at God. (Psalms 1:1 CEV)

Birds of the same feather flock together. Geese form a V-shape, which is called synergy, in their flight. One flies to lead and break the wind, while two others follow, and the rest behind. The effort of the rest of the flock is less than the leader or the ones in front because the V shape provides less air resistance to those behind. The leader lags behind when tired and the next goose takes the lead. During the flight, they honk to each other to communicate. With this formation, they cover more distance, soaring higher and faster by 70% compared to flying alone. When one goose is injured and cannot proceed for some reason like being shot down by hunters, one goose will stay until it can fly again or until it dies. Putting this into practice, we, Christians, should work together as a team to encourage one another and help and support each other, to strengthen each other and get to heaven which is our final destination. We should avoid the company of the sinners and not be influenced by them. The way of the sinners is down, going to hell. The way of the righteous is upward, towards heaven. Saints waiting for the kingdom are like eagles that renew their strengths and continue to fly. Brethren, achieve more, do more, soar higher… increase your work in Christ for the advancement of the Kingdom.
