Our LORD, you bless those who live right, and you shield them with your kindness. (Psalms 5:12 CEV)
The righteous nation is God’s peculiar people. They are the crown or diadem in God’s hands and thus destined to be great for His honor and glory. They rejoice in the assurance of His favor for He commands blessings and security for them. The righteous shall be blessed. They will increase and grow in all aspects of their Christian lives. They shall also be completely secured. While a shield covers only one side of a person, God guards the saints in all sides. They are totally protected from their enemies and from any misfortunes. Know that the saints are created in Christ to do good works or righteousness. If we do good works, we reap good outcomes and shall be rewarded accordingly. If we do wrong, do not expect to have good results. Everything shall be wrong and you will gain nothing, losing instead. The righteous shall increase in righteousness and the sinner shall increase in his sins, unless he or she repents.
