Be glad in the LORD, you righteous ones, and give thanks to His holy name.(Psalms 97:12 NASB)
Holy, holy, holy!!! The God Most High is holy. No one is holy except the Lord. We are hereby commanded to give thanks to the Lord for His holiness. Worship and thanksgiving in reverence and awe is due Him. His holiness is seen through His righteous works and kindness to us. God is good. His plan for us is always good. Things happen for a reason and that is for our sake. Remembering His Holiness is more than enough to bring gladness to our hearts. We should be glad for all the material, physical and spiritual blessings He gives, for the redemption and salvation of our souls, for the growth and increase of the Most Holy Church, and for the promises of inheritance of the Millennial Kingdom and of Heaven. We are to remember most of all His Covenant of Agape with us. Now we have Him. He is the source of our joy which is continuing and lasting. Let us be glad in the Lord. He is faithful in His love.
