Even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. (1 Corinthians 10:33 NIV)
Follow Christ’s example of compassion and mercy. He sacrificed for the salvation of others. He gave His life so that many who will believe may live. He shed His precious blood for the redemption of our sins. He did everything that we may be saved. Now is our turn to do the same. We are commissioned to be instruments to save many through the preaching of the Good News of Salvation. We are to do this without material profit for ourselves. We have received salvation, we have to freely share it to many. To be effective instruments to save others, we have to be devoted Christians who live according to the gospel. Be the guiding light so that we may lead the way to Christ. Also, we have to love people, sympathize with their plight and have mercy on their souls. Make them objects of your Agape. Also, intentionally please them. Do everything we can to serve and help them in more ways than one. Our aim is not to just be kind to them. We do all these for one reason and one reason alone: to win them for Christ. That should be our main aim in dealing with others, to bring them to Christ. That will glorify God. Nothing will please and praise Christ than to imitate Him and do His works. Save a soul, win someone for Christ!
