Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. (Matthew 5:11)
Faithfulness is God’s character. If we are faithful, we are godly. But how do you know you are faithful? Your faithfulness is proven when you undergo trials. They test your faithfulness. Rejoice if you undergo persecutions and trials for the sake of Christ and His kingdom. You are being perfected and strengthened by them. God is generous to bless you with great things as a reward. How can you be faithful? If you are a faithful spouse, you remain faithful to your spouse. The same way, if you are faithful to Christ and His Church, you remain faithful to Him no matter what and you stay in His Church till the end. You prove your faithfulness as a servant through your obedience to God’s words. You are a faithful steward of the God given talents and treasures, if you use them for the common good and for the work of the Church. So be happy by being faithful.
