Use every piece of God’s armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. (Ephesians 6:13 NLT)
Resist the devil and he will flee from you. He has no power against us. He knows that we are the children of God and that the spirit of God is with us. God is greater than Satan. Call on the name of Christ in times of temptations and afflictions which Satan brings against us; this is enough for him to leave you. He knows God so well that he trembles just by hearing His Holy name. To resist the devil is to not do what he wants, and he wants which is for us to sin. We have to do more than that. We have to do what is good and godly. We have to continue obeying all of God’s commands. In doing so, we triumph against sin and Satan. Victory is achieved by being holy.
