Treasure your faith more than anything in the world. It is the only thing you can hold on to in times of temptations and trials. In Christ and His promises, you can find courage, security, peace and provisions to defend yourself and win in your spiritual battle. With your faith in Christ, you can overcome the world just as Christ was victorious against the evil one who is Satan. Faith is the substance of things to come. It is the assurance that all of God’s promises to you will happen, as if they are already happening. Christ our Lord God promised, He will fulfill them. He is God who does not lie. That is why you should hold on to your faith as a shield to protect you in all situations. The fiery attacks of Satan coming from everywhere can be deflected and quenched by your shield of faith in Christ. You can overcome. You can do the impossible through faith in Him.
