Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9 NKJV)

It is so easy to follow the crowd, to do what everyone else is doing. Especially nowadays when deeds that are not acceptable to God become acceptable to most people just because many are doing them. The current society we live in continues to feed us ‘modern’ ideas and beliefs which refute some teachings of God and make them somehow irrelevant or ‘old-fashioned’. We must not be deceived and swayed by these modern ideas and beliefs. God’s Word is unchanging–His teachings are relevant and remains pure and holy–always have been and always will be. So how can we stand firm and holy in God’s Word? How can we hold fast to the Lord? To do these, we must be like Noah. Just like Noah, we are surrounded by ungodly and corrupt people. Nevertheless, he was deemed perfect in his generation because he walked with God. He never swayed from his faith in the Lord. He kept himself pure and holy in the midst of sinners. And though he was ridiculed and laughed at because of his obedience to the Lord, he remained firm in his faith and continued to be obedient to the God. Do not follow the crowd, instead follow the Lord. Always do what is right in the eyes of the Lord, whenever and wherever.
