For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,
But the wicked shall fall by calamity. (Proverbs 24:16 NKJV)

One side of victory is to rise when we fall. Falling down is not a failure; staying down is. Getting back up when we are down is one attribute of Christians. As the scriptures say, “It is difficult for a righteous to be saved.” This does not mean that we are called to be survivors. Instead, we are called to be more than conquerors. However, as we press forward, toward the goal for the prize that is for us, we may bend down in our spiritual battle. As such, we should wisely use the gift God has given us – the true faith, to keep us going and keep us strong. Under God’s permissive will, He lets us suffer to lead our faith to producing perfect works. Faith and action work together – for it is by works that our faith shall be made perfect, complete and lack nothing. Let us do our best to reach what is ahead. Let us focus on the goal no matter how difficult the fight is.
