But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV)
The more we give, the more we have.” It can be also understood that the more we refuse to let go of the things we keep in our hands, the more it will be gone in a manner we did not expect. When you give, you are not forced to lose whatever is in your hands. You give with your own freewill to the intent and purpose of sharing. When Jesus fed multitudes of people, the disciples only had five small loaves of bread and two fish. What they have is not sufficient, even for them, but Jesus prayed and blessed the food. There were about five thousand men who ate, not counting the women and children! Surprisingly, there were twelve large baskets of leftovers! In your hands is what God has entrusted to you. Your life, strength, time, knowledge, money, and talents are all given to you for your use, to benefit you and others. Pour out yourself because what you give is what you get back. You lose nothing. In fact, they will be multiplied ten-fold, fifty-fold, hundred-fold, or more! Therefore, be good stewards of God’s gift and He will entrust greater things in your care.
