Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV)
Are you hot or cold in your Christian walk? Lukewarm Christians are not acceptable to God. Let us see the analogy of a thermometer. It is an instrument to determine and measure the hotness or coldness of any matter. Let us take the room as an example. The thermometer measures the temperature of the room. The liquid mercury goes us up or expands when it is hot and drops when it is cold. The thermometer responds according to the environment. Are we the same as the thermometer? Do we serve the Lord earnestly when life is fair and good, and then neglect our duties when life becomes difficult and hard? It could also be the other way around. If so, we cannot please God. If we constantly and steadfastly do our service to the Lord, always seeking and approaching Him humbly in His throne of grace, He will be there in times of our needs. I urge you to fan the flame of your ministry and feel the presence of the good Lord all the days of your life.
