For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10 NKJV)
Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” This is a misconception from a group of people long time ago like the Epicureans. Epicureans reject immortality and any possibility of afterlife – that the sum and total of man’s existence are the days between birth and death. This is not so with the truthfulness of God’s doctrine that we must always regard in our life’s journey as Christians. Each one of us shall give account of himself to God. Everything we think, say, or do; whether it is good or bad; even the things done in secret; every careless words we have spoken or hidden thoughts of our mind and heart shall have its equivalent requital. So, consider your own life like a book. The pages of yesteryears are over. The pages of the present life are now being written. The pages for the future are still blank. You are the one writing on the book of your life. Write the best you can because erasers do not work on it. Let God and the people around you enjoy reading it until it is finished.
