Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another. (Mark 9:50 NKJV)

Each Christian is likened to salt. There are seven uses of salt that we add in the food we love to eat. Salt acts as a preservative; our sincere and pure love to one another is preserved and prevents conflict and discord. Second, salt enhances the texture of the product, to look better and enjoyable to eat; Church Services will become a wonderful experience that will make everybody feel better and blessed because we serve one another harmoniously. Third, as a flavor enhancer, it intensifies sweetness, when sprinkled on fresh fruits or added to candies like caramel; encouraging one another stirs up our love and kindness towards one another. Fourth, salt is a source of nutrients; our talents, when used effectively in various ministries, shall be for the health and edification of each member of the Most Holy Church, as one body of Christ. Fifth, salt helps form protein gel that holds the food together; perfect unity of the body is achieved by being bonded together by Agape love. Sixth, do you know that salt enhances the color of the food we cook? Yes! Agape love adds color to our lives in this darkened world. We see things are beautiful when we see it through the eyes of Agape. Finally, salt lessens or eliminates the bitter taste of the food; in our love-feast, the bitterness of conflicts and disagreements vanish by bearing with one another and forgiving one another. Always remember, you must have the qualities of salt among yourselves to live in peace with each other.
