Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV)
Courage is not having fear. Love takes away fear. The person who does love greatly will have great courage. As love cannot be drowned by oceans or floods, so is the person who has the courage is unstoppable. Courage stems from the inside, in our hearts. It takes its root from the love of God. As we grow in love with God, we become confident and brave to face the world. Primarily, we are given the spirit of courage and not of timidity to obey the Lord. It moves us to do greater things for the Lord. It pushes us beyond our limits. There were things that we cannot do, and now we can do, more than we expect we can. As we obey God, He gives us more power and abilities that we can use to do greater things for Him, for His glory. He promised to be with us until the end. We are given the command to preach and proclaim the Gospel of His Kingdom until His return. Therefore, let us unite in preaching the Gospel to all nations. Let us look beyond us, let us see the mission field as God sees it. It is now ripe for the harvest. Brethren, since God is with us, let us do everything possible for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Likewise, let us also do whatever is impossible for the glory of the Lord.
