Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

You cannot change yesterday. So do not worry about what happened in the past. Do not cry over spilled milk. Move on rather than sit and mourn. Tomorrow is also not within your power, to change what is supposed to happen. It is only God who knows exactly what will happen in the future. He is in complete control of the whole creation. What matters is now. It is now that we can act and affect our lives. Live as if it is the last day of your life. Give your best and be the best. Live the best every single day of your life. Troubles are always around the corner of our lives. It is where we live and we cannot change that. However, we are commanded to NOT WORRY. Come to think of it, worrying is a sin. It means we do not trust God. Do we trust that God will provide all that we need and help us in times of troubles? Instead of worrying, what we are to do is PRAY. Prayer connects us to God. We acknowledge His power, have faith and hope in His promises, and are thankful for His Agape love that saves us completely, physically, and spiritually. As we magnify God in our hearts through prayers and worship, our worries dissipate and our heart and mind are lifted up and strengthened, for us to face anything with confidence. God’s mighty hand will lead us from this troubled world to the gates of heaven; from sorrows to eternal gladness.
