And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ (Luke 19:17 NKJV)

King Jesus called us to share with Him the important work of salvation. We are the people of God chosen to this high calling of heaven – to be God’s instruments; to do His work and speak out for Him; and, to tell others of the great blessings of salvation that we received from Him. As faithful Servants of the King, we have to fulfill our commission of preaching, teaching, and making disciples of all races. Like Apostle Paul, let us do all things for the sake of the Gospel, that we may become fellow partakers of it. Let us not get tired of sharing the Gospel. If we do not speak for Christ, who will? Are we to keep silent and let others do the preaching? Now is the day of Salvation, not tomorrow! We have received the Words of God. These are the talents, the gifts that we are to invest in people’s hearts, to multiply believers in the world and expand the Kingdom of God. The King will come and we will account for the talents He gave us and the profit He expects. He will judge us if we pass the test and if are prepared for the greater responsibilities in His Millennial Reign. If we are faithful in performing our duties now, then we shall be given greater responsibilities and honor in His future Kingdom. Surely, the little things that we do now cannot be compared to the greater things in store for us in the Millennial and much more in the Heavenly Kingdom. Be faithful and be promoted from being Slaves to Rulers.
