Let’s talk! – God. From the beginning, God wanted a relationship with His creations. He wants to be intimately close to us. There is nothing more intimate than a relationship bonded by love. We are so blessed that we are God’s children. We are His treasure, the apple of His eyes. He reveals to us what we need to know to have a prosperous and successful life. The Holy Scriptures contain the words of God, which we can use to increase our knowledge and understanding of divine wisdom. This is much higher than the wisdom of the world. The benefits are priceless to those who will hear by heart and keep them. The doctrines are for us to know what is good and right; for reproof, to know what is wrong; for correction, that is, to show how to be right; and for instructions, to keep us in doing what is good and right. The more we hear the words of God, the more we can increase in His knowledge, and the more we love Him, the more we serve Him. This is why our Ministers labor to teach us the whole counsel of God, for us to keep and develop our most holy faith. We cannot benefit from having just the knowledge of God’s Words. We must practice them. In fact, it would be sin if we do not follow and live by them. We harvest and enjoy the fruits of righteousness and goodness of the truth or God’s Words, if we devotedly follow and live by them. God will reveal Himself more to us if we keep on doing what is good, pleasing, and acceptable to Him. Be diligent in hearing and doing God’s words and experience God daily.
