But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. (Acts 4:19 NKJV)
God has given us great power. With power comes great responsibility. True faith which was given to us freely and by the grace of God gave us the power to conquer the world. It was not given to us because we deserve it. It is a gift from God that ends in eternal life. We should strive to keep and fight for it. The power of faith can move mountains. All obstacles in front of us are not big enough or strong enough to prevent us from doing the will of God. We have to declare and witness to others the true God whose love can release, heal, and comfort the oppressed, the captives, the sick, the blind, the crippled, the helpless, and the hopeless. There is nothing impossible for us to do. Our true faith strengthens our hearts and our spirits never go weary and tired. Through faith, we become wise to know and understand not only things of this world but more significantly, the divine things of God. Through faith, we see God in His majestic glory and amazing holiness. We hear His soothing sweet voice of truth, mercy, and love. Brethren, are we not committing treason against God who commanded us to seek and proclaim His glory if we do not preach the Gospel? In the face of those who threaten us to proclaim, we should have no fear but be bold and courageous. We cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard. Let our souls be consumed by the zeal of the Lord to spread the Gospel of good tidings to all souls.
