Many sorrows shall be to the wicked;
But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him. (Psalm 32:10 NKJV)

The final end of the wicked is undesirable. Their happiness caused by the pleasure of the eyes is quickly vanishing. Their troubles and miseries will increase until they cannot carry it any longer. The guilt of sin produces loss, disappointments, misfortunes, extreme fear, and finally, endless regret and death. Sin is like a credit card – enjoy now pay later. Righteous, faithful, and God-trusting Christians may face many troubles too, but God delivers them from all. Their afflictions caused by trials, persecutions, and rejections by oppositions will eventually turn into joy and laughter. God’s favor shall surround him like the needed air that is everywhere; at home and abroad; daytime even nighttime; in solitary, in community; in illness, in health; in life, in death and in an appointed time, in everlasting life.
