In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. (Psalm 18:6 NKJV)

Prayer is a special door and a secret passage that is left unlocked even though our path and destination were surrounded and blocked by the enemies. It is an unbreakable ladder that one can use to escape from a deep grave of distress. Prayer is our hotline, our 911 emergency call. We can dial away and we shall see God Himself coming in very perfect time to relieve us. We do pray not because of helplessness but because we faithfully believe that we are powerless without Him. He is OUR GOD – our God of Covenant. We are His beloved children. The prayer of every single saint weighs very precious to the heart and ears of our dear God. Talk to Him now; He listens.
