And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (! John 2: 17 NKJV)
This world and all the things in it, even the pleasures and obsessions of men, will fade and pass away. But the gladness and desire for heavenly things will remain, because those things are spiritual and heavenly things, therefore, everlasting. We strive to be rich in works of holiness. We spend our life in doing the teachings of the Lord. We strive to offer our day to the Lord for His praise and glorification of His name while we live. We aim to honor God like what is written, “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” God keeps those who acknowledge Him. He hears our prayers, and He will give all good things to us who are faithful to Him. He will show us the vastness of His kindness which we, who love Him, will inherit.
