So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. (1 Samuel 3:19 NKJV)

As parents, we always want only what is best for our children. We work hard to be good providers of their needs and wants. We do our best to send them to reputable schools for quality education, buy them good clothes, feed them nutritious foods, and give them adequate shelter. We do all these hoping to help them achieve their dreams and attain a good life. But what many parents of today forget to do is to entrust their children to God, our Creator, just as Hannah did to her son Samuel. Hannah let Samuel serve the Lord even in his childhood so that he may know the Lord well. As Samuel grew up, it was very evident that the help and guidance of the Lord was with him. Moreover, the Lord did not let Samuel to be put to shame. Everything Samuel said came true. So, for our children, if we teach them and let them know and serve God in their childhood, the guidance and help of God will be surely with them. God will guide them in making all their plans, and He will help them to achieve them. Everything our children dream of will come into realization because we taught them to put all their trust in the Almighty.
