For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. (Romans 16:19 NKJV)
God is light. We are the reflection of God. People may see God through us. Thus, we shine to give light to this darkened world. With the radiance of light that we emit. people may see it and may follow it as their guide towards God. Our obedience and our transformed life is the splendor of God’s light that people see. God’s light does not fade, so our obedience should also not fade. It should not be affected by the things that surround us. We obey in the brightness of our days and we obey more to glitter and sparkle in the darkness of days. Meaning, when we prosper, we serve; when we are on trials, we serve more. The wise do not only understand but discern what is good and what is bad. So let us demonstrate the shekinah glory of God by leading a holy life and not conforming to the evil ways of this world.
