Our God is our light and protector, in the times of our gray moments to the darkest side of our life. Call upon His name and He will surely come and comfort your weary heart and enlighten your confused mind. He will not leave us in times of troubles to show us the way for us to overcome. It is because He loves us very much. He is a very generous God and Father. Before we utter a prayer, He already responds to our pleading. If it seems that we are in the desert of loneliness. He is our shelter. He is like a shade that refreshes our spirit from the dry land of our solitude. In the face of terrors from the enemies, call His name out loud and He will surely be there. He is our defense, our security. Just like Israel of old, who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years to go to the Promised Land, God was their shield in the day and sun in the night to lead them to attain the promised blessings. Few days more and this year will end. We have experienced and seen that our God truthfully blessed us grace and glory. What we believed and faithfully held in our hearts at the beginning of this year became real. Truly, we increased in many ways. Let us sing and praise and offer our sacrifices of thanksgiving in our Annual Thanksgiving. Brethren, see you there in body and in spirit. Let us raise our hopes that God will remain to be the sun and the shield in the Acceptable Year of the Lord. He will lead us to receive His blessings from day 1 to the end of this year as He promised if we continue to walk in faith which is pleasing to Him.
