Let Us Pray No. 79

  • March 20, 2017

“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless.” 2 Samuel 22:26

Abba, our merciful and perfect Father, we convey to you our prayer for this day asking for reassurance of your guidance and preservation. The world we live in today is disarrayed and full of conflicts between individuals, societies and nations. Some are living in speculations and some are in frustrations. Others are living in resentment and others are full of greediness, covetousness, curse and reproof. Because iniquity abounds, love becomes cold. People try to be happy from the material things and deliberately forget the true purpose of life and whole duty of all men, which is to fear you and to keep your commandments.

As your children born anew through the grace of your righteousness and truth, may we show a meaningful life by living in the likeness of your image. We are aware that what we sow, we shall reap. May we faithfully reflect on the truthfulness of being your sons and daughters by the holiness of our dealings with others. Like the Good Samaritan, we wish to prove our unconditional love to anyone in desperate need especially to the souls that are looking and longing for your mercy and salvation. Let us not be found in selfishness but in mercifulness and love that we may bless others to extend our adoption and salvation. Help us to bring others to your embrace in pure motivation of our hearts. Amen.
