Let Us Pray No. 80

  • March 21, 2017

“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15

Abba, Father God, thank you that we are indeed blessed by having you as our stronghold and defense while walk on this lowly earth. Without you, we may perhaps become vulnerable in our spiritual fight. But thank you for the knowledge that there are things in this life which we cannot avoid and that we should face and admit that it is a part of the process of our purification and sanctification until we become your perfect sons and daughters who are fit to inherit the glorious immortal heavenly bodies. We only ask you to increase our endurance not to be swayed against the ill will and ill words of people who tried to harm us just because they don’t believe you and they don’t believe us. Thank you that you keep us away from the influences of the earthly fashion. We know that you will never let us fall. Lord, today and at all times, please enable us to put on your armor, that we, in spite of being exposed in this contaminated world of sins, we may emanate your glory in the hearts of others until our lights of good works shine completely as one spiritual kingdom. Again, thank you and praises be upon your holy name. Amen.
