And we can each do different things. Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do. (1 Corinthians 12:6 CEV)
As members of the Church, the body of Christ, we all have different functions. We work together as a body. The work of one is a help to the rest of the body to accomplish a common goal. This process of doing our own function, in an orderly fashion, strengthens the whole body. However, not one works on its own. The head, who is Christ, provides the direction. His spirit energizes each one of us to function properly. Having His spirit means we are all inspired by Him. Without His spirit, we are dead as a body and as members of the body. We can do all things because Christ is in us and we are in Him.
