The LORD God will help me and prove I am innocent. My accusers will wear out like moth-eaten clothes. (Isaiah 50:9 CEV)
Will I be your enemy because I tell you the truth? God forbids! If I be treated as an enemy because of righteousness and of proclamation of the truth, so be it. If I be treated unjustly and casted out because of the Gospel of Christ, then I am most willing to accept the fate. My acceptance of the sufferings inflicted by my enemies does not mean that I resign for I am confident that it is just for a while that God will vindicate me. If I had done wrong, it is fair that I suffer the consequences of my actions. If it is not, then God will pronounce my innocence. Even the devil who accuses me before the throne of God will be shamed in time. Brothers and sisters, let us be confident of the righteousness of God. Let us be steadfast in our obedience to His commands. If we live holy lives, we shall be like Job who was justified and restored his losses two-fold for he was firm in his faith and stayed righteous before God.
