Now I want you to know that if you are led by God’s Spirit, you will say that Jesus is Lord, and you will never curse Jesus. (1 Corinthians 12:3 CEV)
Our character is determined by what we think, say, and do. What we know is the basis of what we feel and believe. It is demonstrated in words that we say and in actions that we do. So if what we know is based on wrong notions, our thoughts would be wrong, since the basis of it is wrong knowledge. Consequently, we do not do what is right: we sin. The mind is being blinded from the truth by Satan. That is what he does best. But there is hope through the words of God. We have to seek the words of God. Increase in the knowledge of what is true. Hear them from God-sent Ministers. Read the Bible. Attend Church services and delight in the Words. Fill your mind and heart with the truth of God’s Words and you will do what is right. Pray for the Spirit of God to lead, teach, and empower you to do what is right. If you are spirit-filled, you will reflect the image of God. You will be like Jesus, for you have His spirit, heart, and walk of faith in total obedience to God. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
