Wisdom brings strength, and knowledge gives power. (Proverbs 24:5 CEV)
Wisdom is always better than strength or might. One wise Army General with a few soldiers under his command can conquer a city of mighty warriors through military tactics and strategies. As children of God, we are told to be wise as a serpent: to preserve ourselves in this world by not exposing ourselves to dangers, temptations, and deception. Let us be wise not to rely on the wisdom of men, which are all foolishness with God. We should be wise by having divine knowledge, of the wisdom of Christ, for us to overcome this world. Being wise is not deeming the importance of wealth, fame, and glory of this world, as greater than the salvation of our souls. Lastly, being wise means staying in the Ark of Salvation and dwelling in the presence of God, rather than jumping out of the Ark, plunging to sure eternal death. Brethren, be wise to choose life rather than death. Choose to serve the true God rather than mammon.
