“Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.” Psalms 100:2
Abba great God and Father, it is our greatest joy to serve you and worship you. But what kind of service will you accept? Is it not from a loving heart, full of joy in abiding your will? Should it not come from the congregation of your saints? Lord, we unite in spirit and soul, in one faith we approach you and raise our voices to praise you and magnify your Holy name. We testify in the congregation your loving kindness which you have extended in the lives of your saints. We serve each other through the ministries you have given us. We do all these for your glory. We honor you, Father, by serving one another and loving one another, as you commanded us. We encourage one another with psalm and hymns and your words of truth for the edification of our faith in you and the building up of your Church. May we feel the presence of your Holy Spirit to show us our transgressions and for us to repent and amend our ways. May we be reconciled with you and with our fellow believers that we may have peace and comfort in our hearts. We pray that those who want to return to your fold and the ones who seek you in their lives, may we ask, to show yourselves to them. May they find you in our midst that they may also believe and serve you and worship you. Lord may we become acceptable to you and take pleasure in our holy services in your name. We believe you will accept a cheerful giver. Amen
